Article 12

No one shall be subjected to arbitrary interference with his privacy, family, home or correspondence, nor to attacks upon his honour and reputation. Everyone has the right to the protection of the law against such interference or attacks.

People living with HIV; people with TB; drug users; sex workers; men having sex with men and trans*people have the right to privacy. This means that illegal collection of any personal information (including belonging to a certain group, information about private life, illegal access to personal correspondence, dissemination of derogatory and insulting falsehoods) is prohibited.
