Article 17

Everyone has the right to own property alone as well as in association with others. No one shall be arbitrarily deprived of his property

People living with HIV; people with TB; people who use drugs; sex workers; men having sex with men, and trans*people must not be illegally restricted in their right to own their property or property they are/may become entitled to own. Members of key populations may not be illegally deprived of any property by either authorities or other people, based on hate or feeling of impunity when it comes to dealing with vulnerable populations.
